Areas including Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, and central Delhi have reported major waterlogging and long traffic snarls. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for the region, warning of more intense rainfall in the coming hours.

Major roads in Najafgarh, Bindapur, ITO, Chhatarpur, and other parts of the city were submerged, severely affecting office commuters and school transportation. The Delhi airport has also reported delays, prompting airlines to issue travel advisories urging passengers to leave early and check traffic updates.
